The point is moot. AU will win the toss.

The officials will have rigged the coin.

Let Mingo get his facemask in, the sooner the better. I can wait a few minutes to see the new and improved punt read option.

Give em the ball. If we stop them, it's a huge boost for LSU.

Defense first baby! What would be even more amazing is to have them at 3rd and long and to sack Newton. That would set the tone that we came to play serious football.

If Lee were starting I'd say take the ball and drive it right down their throat because I'm confident he can. However, since it's apparent Les is sticking with the third and JJ offense to start the game I say unleash the D early. Even if AU scores first, remember that hasn't meant a whole lot in this series. There are a lot of players on AU's team who remember Lee as a freshman leading a comeback against them. It's not like LSU players are the only ones leary of a QB. JL beat Auburn with his arm. He can do it again. He is a better field general now than he was then. Here's hoping he gets the majority of LSU's snaps.

Actually, it is. No matter who wins Auburn will get the ball first.

Take the ball obviously. Least amount of Auburn possessions as possible.

I'd want the ball. Hopefully Peterson houses the kick-off. Then the defense picks Newton off for a pick 6 and we're up 14-0 before Jefferson even steps foot on the field. After he fumbles the 1st drive and throw a pick the next, we'll be tied 14-14 and Lee's turn in the rotation. It'd be like starting the game with Lee at 0-0!!
