Would that be the biggest change ever from midseason predictions? We had people calling 5-7 or 6-6 with only 1 SEC win at the most. Can you think of a season where the Tigers shocked more people with their end of the season performance?

I'm not sure anything really shocks me anymore, but always shocks me at the same time. I've learned this damn strong team is just unpredictable, which is always exciting.

Auburn last year after LSU whipped them up and down the field.

Not shocked one bit. You leave Welter in at MLB and we would have finished 5-7 or 6-6.

LSU isn't 10-2 yet, but absolutely.

For LSU, probably 2003. After Florida, no one was thinking national title.

That would be a shocking turnaround. What they did last night was not something most would have expected earlier in the season. The young players are coming around, and the coaches are doing a great job.

If we can get some improvement in the passing game, 10-2 would not seem so out of reach.

I recall a lot of doubt after the loss to Ole Miss back in 2001. However, it wasn't as bad as 3 weeks ago and back then we were a little more used to the ups and downs that can happen on a season.

Would be one of the best coaching jobs ever done.

if we win out or even lose one more, it would be, in my opinion the best coaching job of mid season adjustments I've ever seen. CLM has already done an OUTSTANDING job of finding a way to win with this young team. I'm gonna say if this team had one of 90% of the coaches in CFB we would be 5-4 or close to it.

I have to admit I never believed it would make as big of a difference as it has. KB is getting better and better each game and his presence in the middle has changed things. There have been a few plays each game he makes that I dont think DJ would have. I guess I just didnt think a few plays would make that big of a difference but it really has.
It just shows that football is truly a game of inches.

Not really anything i do with inches when MLB is literally the core of your defense.

Every season is shocking. I think my heart has pounded during more games this past 5 years than in the rest of my lifetime combined.

It is the difference between good running backs or running quarterbacks running wild in your secondary or not.

Well that 3rd down play where KB stopped them just short to force a forth down try seemed like a pretty important play to me. You could say if he was just a little bit slower they get the first down. I agree though Chavis needs a good MLB for his defense to work the way it is supposed to.
