if these had been predicted last July, what would the board have said?

Joe Burrow will break Colt Brennan's 58 Passing Touchdown record (Hawai'i).
Expected Response: Ok riiiiiight.. against SEC defenses? I guess LSU has joined the Pac-12 or MWC now?

In a CFP Semi-Final, we'll be up on the Big XII Champion Oklahoma Sooners by 49-14 at halftime.
Expected Response: I assume you mean Northwestern State in September?

The President of the United States will attend TWO of our games.
Expected Response: That's just dumb. Outside chance of one game. No chance for two.

We'll be up by 20 at halftime in Tuscaloosa.
Expected Response: Why do you post here? LEAVE!

Bonus Question... which of the above was the most unlikely? I'll go with the 60 TD passes!

I predicted we’d only lose one game on another site. People said I was foolish

There are plenty of threads to pull from.

I got bashed for simply predicting Burrow would break LSU season records for yardage and TDs.

After a lifetime of coaching, I retired because wins were more of a relief than joy. Watching our Tigers turned into the same. I can say that this past season was absolute JOY. Maybe I’m old, but I will die content in having seen my school being the best that it could be.

What pundit said Burrow has thrown for 5 td's before he got off the bus or something like that?

Obvious answer. How many LSU games has a sitting president attended

I could give a care less. Still riding the high and euphoria of what we just witnessed. Dream season is an understatement.

I’d say this one.

Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine an LSU QB breaking the Passing TD record. Still can’t believe it. LSU? Did this really happen?

You don't see my OP as an awestruck account of some of what we just witnessed?

While you were typing out this topic, Joe Burrow threw three more touchdowns against Oklahoma.

I predicted 15-0 on Dandy Don and the first time I saw Joe's name on a Heisman List I Posted it! I could hear people laughing all the way to Manila!

Myself, like others, were predicting 11-1 & a large majority of this site felt that O needed more time to develop his team. It's a shame there wasn't as much faith in the Tigers for some of these "fans".

49-14 at the half or the touchdown record. Despite the perceptions, OU hadn’t exactly been beaten *that* bad prior to this year.

49-14 at halftime is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in football (in a good way of course)

I was so stunned I spent the 2nd half in a trance

Same. Most bizarre football game I’ve ever been to. It didn’t quite feel real what we were witnessing.
