“If the unthinkable happens” “If Bama stumbles”

The selection show was full of comments like this. You would think LSU’s chances were the same as hitting Mega Millions. There’s no way Bama can be beaten. If they are, it’s because they “stumbled”.
Keep the disrespect coming. Saturday is going to be special.

LSU is ranked number 3. Ahead of undefeated Notre dame. Also ahead of all one loss teams. I'm not sure how much LSU is being disrespected.

They are ranked #3 and if they beat a team two spots ahead of them it would be “unthinkable”. That’s pretty disrespectful.

Exactly. They aren't disrespecting us, the are disrespecting everyone in the country in sucking off bama. If you all just pay attention the media is playing this perfectly for us. "No chance Bama stumbles", "they are in a class by themselves", etc. This is setting up an upset and ratings...

Bama is in the playoffs so long as they beat Miss State and Auburn. Let that sink in.
They can play a schedule where their opponents have an aggregate losing record. Where the best defense they have played is ranked 93rd in all of college football. They can lose to the only team they will have played that is a serious contender (LSU), they can avoid playing any of the top three teams in the SEC East (Florida, Georgia and Kentucky) and they WILL STILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

No disrespect but that is pure conjecture at this point. Let them go undefeated with a margin of victory +20 and then you speculate.

This entire board is WAAAY too Bama obsessed. Jeez, just worry about what we can control. Bama, for the last decade, has been on another level. They've beaten us 7 straight. It's not because of cheating refs, a corrupt SEC office, or biased media. It's because they have a better coach and better players than everyone else and they play solid ball every week. It's that simple.
After losing 7 straight, wE don't have the right to bitch about them. Beat them, then we can talk. Until then, it all sounds like jealousy and sour grapes.

Come on man. This isn't the difference between #25 and #23.
Bama is in a class by themselves until proven otherwise. We have a shot to prove otherwise but I don't blame anyone that chooses to drink the Bama kool aid.

Unless Notre Dame, Clemson and Michigan win out. No way the Gumps get in over those guys, even with a loss to LSU.
That's why those three MUST win out.
Seriously, though. I would not be surprised to see Bama lose to LSU and State simply because of the defenses.

I almost think the media is trying to fire up Tiger Stadium and the Tigers for this game. I have never seen a top 5 team given such a small chance in a home game.

The Committee and the polls aren't disrespecting us but every ESPN Talking Head sure is.
