Actually, it may be pretty difficult to make an argument for Gurriel.

All 5 are in it even now. Some more so than others. His numbers are up there with the rest. Had to add him in there.

Could say it about nearly every player (except for Reddick) at this point.

I feel bad for the guy because we aren't in the Series without him. He got the go ahead RBI against al reliever of the year kimbrel and made a HUGE defensive impact in the alcs that won us 1 or 2 games.

If he closes the series in an epic manner, then yes. If not I’d bet on Altuve.

Which is ridiculous because that error should have been charged on the first baseman that can't catch a ball that didn't even bounce.
Correct, and also ridiculous how Springer doesnt get charged with any error for going full retard last night and giving up a run

Bregman is the only one of these players who has an error.

He also has the highest fielding percentage at 3rd base in the AL...
AND it was a bullshite error.

I agree! However, if this turns into another slugfest and Bregman comes thru w 2nd GW RBI then..... it's ON! Bregman is in the running for sure. Let's see what happens..... Would be AWESOME for him. He's such a TEAM player. Plays some serious "D" along w Carlos Correa, George Springer, and Jose Altuve. Yulie Gurriel is also in the mix along w Marwin Gonzalez and
Brian McCann. Only regular position player that sucks right now is Josh Reddick. Maybe he will somewhat redeem himself and help the Astros to victory against his former team. Verlander is definitely the MAN on Tuesday. He can control the entire game and probably will. GEAUX ASTROS!

Bregman is 4th in OPS, 2nd in RBIs, and 1st in runs for the astros in the world series, and IMHO has been one of their best defensive players. Also, he has the walk off RBI in the classic game so far.

I would imagine he is right at the top of the list for MVP as of now. But alot can change between now and when that award is given.

He's not going to win the MVP of the World Series BC he has the highest fielding percentage at 3rd base in the AL. You left out the part where I said he has been great defensively. I was just stating a fact, that he does have an error in the WS.

I also said the error probably shouldn't have been on him.
