If I'm LSU and I'm looking at zero chance of being able to fill Tiger Stadium for that game I'm strongly considering trying to push it to another season. The financial benefit of entering into big home and home series is the opportunity to collect a huge "gate" when you get the game at your home stadium. Playing Texas in front of a 25% or even 50% full Tiger Stadium is a tremendous wasted financial opportunity for LSU. You want that game played when you have the ability to pack 90k+ into the stadium. That's almost certainly not going to be this year.
So while I was looking forward to that game as much as anyone (easily the best home non-conf game in at least 10 years, if not more), I wouldn't be upset if LSU chose to move it (though I am upset the absurdity of this ongoing covid situation will make doing so the best option)

This is what I’ve been saying all along

I'll go even further. If stadiums are only gonna be allowed to be 50% capacity then the visitors should get no seats at all unless a home fan gets them first and sells them secondhand.
In this unique situation where limited people are allowed, those spots should be designated for home fans only since they're the ones that drive that programs bottom line. Plus you have to keep the home field advantage for the home team. Unique problems call for unique solutions.

Moot point unfortunately - they aren't coming here this season & it sucks. May happen if season moves to spring, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I’ll pay the man to go, probably the tickets are cheap anyway.

50% tiger stadium will still be louder than their place last year. And their band/fans better be up near the moon. I imagine band will be cancelled this year though since they produce so much secretions

Gane will probably be rescheduled to another year...after we go to all conference schedule

I’ll be outside the stadium cheering my lungs off.

Huge games like this seem to become sparser as the years roll on
They are just as common as when I was in school in the 80's. Every year we play at least one premiere opponent. We used to play more of what is now called Power 5 teams, but they were mostly dogs like Oregon State (really bad back then) and Colorado.

I would wave everyone through.
