Fair enough. Just food for thought

When Dugas comes back leave the lineup as is. For whatever reason if Dugas does not comeback this weekend then I'd like to see Crews back in the lead off spot.

This wasn’t a reactionary post because of last nights game I was just curious about other’s thoughts on moving him up since he’s been walked so often the past few weeks

He’s been walked all year.

If Dugas is indeed back this weekend and is more or less back to his old self, then you leave things as they are/were. If he's out for longer than currently thought then I think you need to either find someone else to go into the 1hole to fill Dugas spot or find a high OBP guy to go into the 9 hole. Without Dugas you basically only have Morgan to try to get on and dissuade teams from pitching around Crews. When you've got Dugas and Morgan, there's a decent chance you'll have at least one on before you walk Crews. Having 2+ on for tanks is going to result in a lot of RBIs. As had been seen throughout the season.

True but it feels like he’s been walked a lot more recently

The lineup is at its best when it is
Dugas
Morgan
Crews
White
Beloso
Jones
Jobert
Thompson
Milazzo/Neal

They are walking Crews with the nations leader in RBI on deck and you think putting anyone else behind him will stop teams from walking him?

With all healthy. I say
Dugas
Crews
White
Big B
JT
Jones
Morgan
Jobert
Catcher

Jt has been clutch lately and seems to have it factor. Tre could add some continuity and consistency to bottom part of line-up.

Casual discussion piece.

Idea to move him up a spot or even two in the lineup? Genuine question

No, you let our RBI machine make them pay. And he will.

It looks like you are trying to bunch your righties at the top, and your lefties at the bottom of the lineup. This would certainly dictate the bullpen choices.

Why would you move him up?

Because over time lead off will see more ABs.

If you could pick one player to have more plate appearances, who would it be?
