In theory I agree but the time to pump him full of resources was in the beginning. I also don’t believe this was a sudden epiphany by LSU. MM has failed to get the resources needed because he either can’t get people to buy into his vision or he’s too much of a timid bitch to scream from the rooftops for more money. MM’s failures are his own. LSU hasn’t helped but its more of a 90-10 blame %

Well Scott is not known for his contract negotiation skills. Just the opposite. He has a legacy of overpaying wherever he’s AD. He probably pays MSRP plus dealership markup when he buys a car, then tips the salesman.

Pretty simple, if fans don’t show everybody is getting fired. Some posters have never lived through this so they don’t know it’s happened before.

I’m actually surprised more of our fans aren’t pissed off about this. Thought Will Wade had more support than he does. I still think supporters are more than half but thought it was more. The other side was big enough for SW I guess.

Our fans tend to take the position of an appeal to authority. Coaches over players because they’re here longer. Admin over coaches because they’re here longer. A big portion of the fan base will always support the highest authority regardless of facts or logic.

Will Wade was/is very popular in Louisiana. You can still be a fan of his (I am) while understanding the position Woodard and the BOS were put in due to the circus surrounding the program.
