I am fine with it. Lee is going to be a solid back up if something were to happen to Jefferson. I am cool with using Shepard everywhere.

this wont happen, but if it did, i just hope he would just kneel down or run out of bounds.

ETA - there are plenty of people that are capable of returning, not worth the risk.

If Les thinks he is ready for that, then I am completely fine with it

you want him to knee or run out of bounds on a kickoff? What if he turned out to be a really good punt returner? Would you still want him running out of bounds?

I think him KR and PR would be great. If you do it right, there is no extra risk to injury than playing option QB. He is a college football player, I'm sure he will be okay taking a hit or two.

I want him to contribute anyway he can. I think he would be a very good choice at KR at least.

he was the #1 receiver on the team in 2007, yet he was still returning punts...

Ok, i still think there are people on the team that are just as capable of returning kicks (ex.Calhoun). And if we are giving him his own package at QB, why use him?

ETA - we have way more WRs than than QBs...just doesnt seem like a smart play to me.

Call fair catch if there is danger and not if there isn't. I know its harder than it sounds though.

I would do it if he were the best choice and was good at it, why wouldn't you? You want him on the field to make plays on offense, where he does have a chance of getting hurt running the ball all the time. If he can help the team that way on special teams, with about the same chance of injury, why not?

The guy is third on the depth chart at QB. He is not going to come in to start at QB unless there is a complete disaster.

He should be used everywhere this year IMO. He probably would like it too since he is not going to be the starting QB this year. I say KR/PR/QB/WR/RB. I would literally line him up everywhere and force people to game plan for him.
