Is this enough to shut the $abanistas up? Sadly, I doubt it.
Having followed the Tigahs since the Cholly Mac days, IMHO, Coach Miles is the right man for the right job at the right time.

But how could that be? I thought Les Miles was incompetent and cannot coach...

He will have to win the next 100 in a row to make me forgive him for his epic debacle on 1-9-12.
Your loss.

Damn, I thought I was 'up there'. I watched LSU through all the 70' and 80's having normal, historically, seasons. Then the nadir 90's. I'm enjoying this time more than I can express. And I am very optimistic that by 2020, CLM will dwarf all other LSU HC's in accomplishment.

I hear that. But I agree and like everything GrandDad said. Some of us that have been around longer than Facebook appreciate what we have had in recent years. I'll keep Miles and be thankful. One of the best in my opinion.

Its funny how Miles gets pounded by media on some close loses or close wins but what about the 24 pt melt down saban had two years ago against auburn. Yea auburn was a dominant program but your up 24 pts and still cant win. If this was les we would still hear it from the media.

If you have been a real LSU fan for more than 30 years only then you can truly appreciate what the past 10 years have meant to the school and the State of Louisiana. For the "newer" fans post 2003, all you have known is winning on the big stage and sometimes that means losing the big game. Get over it and appreciate the 2011 Undefeated SEC Champions. By the way that has only happen 5 times in the entire history of the SEC.
