I remember attending the LSU-Arkansas game after DiNardo was handed his marching papers. The crowd was electric
This! I was there too.
I was also there the week before, Dumbnardo's last game. I had season tickets at the time, but saw a dude selling much better seats... 10 tickets for a dollar.
Maybe this is some cosmic irony, but Dumbnardo's last game was against Houston.

If LSU fires Les I will buy a ticket and go to the game next week 100%. It is not even a passing thought of mine if Les is still the coach

I know he was asked to resign last year after the Ole Miss game(with buyout included) to which he said no. So the group of boosters which I could name each and every one of them, raised the buyout money and he was to be fired and the Jimbo negotiations began. To those who think Fisher was not coming are totally clueless as a deal was in fact reach with his agent and he was coming. On Wednesday is when Jindal stepped in and told King no because of the budget crisis and Jindal and Les are buds. The boosters did not give up and in fact was going to pony up even more $$$ and tried everything they could including meeting during the 3rd quarter of the A&M game but to no avail. Les himself thought he was gone hence the last radio show, the gridiron club meeting, getting carried off after the win, etc. he was told in the tunnel he was being retained and spoke after Aleva's brief statement. The 2 met during the offseason as expectations were sky high for this year. Les made bold off season hireings, swore to open up the playbook, etc. then we saw the same old Les 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense. With his boy Harris struggling he made the change to Etling and that 2 quarter was a thing of beauty in the J St game. Halftime he told Cam to run the ball more and go back to that style of offense. This was noticed and he felt heat and was told indirectly he needs to win and salvage this season as all goals ARE STILL IN PLACE. The Moo St game wasn't his fault as the second half they had players making uncharacteristic mistakes like LF7 putting it on the turf twice. Now this loss just may be the final nail in his coffin. People are meeting/talking TODAY to weigh the options. Basically 2-2 and we're still in September is UNACCEPTABLE and it appears they have had enough. I think it happens tomorrow and O is named interim coach and a search committee is formed with Herman as #1. If not tomorrow then after his next loss. They want to get a leg up on hiring the next coach

You're so right. We are spoiled for wanting him to be able to beat Alabama, Miss st, ole miss, Auburn, and Ark on a regular basis while also leading the NFL in representation. Yea we are just a bunch of turds... You're a

an anonymous message board is a popular place to simply make things up. there is zero verification of any statement whatsoever.
you offer such startling information; why should we believe you? you need to give at least some qualification or you should have kept this to yourself. oh sure, you'll get lots on here that will believe anything as long as it coincides with what they want to hear.
do you have a connection?

Don't care what you believe. Zero fricks are given on my end. Peej simply asked me a question and I was answering him. Just telling you what I know and was told and are presently hearing

He's been told he won't be back next season. Things left to be worked out. He can finish the season if he wants, and when to make it public. The latter really depends on the first though.

I did NOT tell you what I believed. I asked for your sources to give credibility to what you believed. you are way too thin skinned.
you state the info "is what you KNOW" and "was told" and "are presently hearing".
if you are getting this info from 18 yr olds with no connection whatsoever fess be a man about it.
if you really DO know something or you were told by a knowing source let us know.
if calling your hand angers you so be it.
