No troll we actually have a defense.

If Mett is as good as Tyler Wilson, we cruise to 14-0 next year. Could you imagine Wilson on our team last year?

He does not have to be that good. All he has to do is keep the db's from crowding the los and we will be fine. Late last year, we did not have the threat of a passing game.If Mett can keep the defense honest I think we have another great year.

Sorry guy's but Mett throws better left handed than JJ can right handed! We will have a great year & help people get over the NC debacle!

LSU will be successful IMO and have an opportunity to win the SEC and go to a major bowl.

If you take this literally, then LSU wins it all and is considered the greatest NCAA team of all time. Hell we were 1 game away from that this year and we had half the QB of Wilson. If we get that kind of QB production we beat everyone by 20+ next year.

Then he will turn pro and our qb situation will look a lot like 2008 and we will be screwed for several more years.

No

LSU would have 2 redshirt sophomores at QB. It would be their 3rd year at LSU vs RS freshman Lee and TRUE freshman JJ.

"If you take this literally, then LSU wins it all and is considered the greatest NCAA team of all time. Hell we were 1 game away from that this year and we had half the QB of Wilson."

At least in terms of yardage, we had nowhere near half the QB. My quick Googling shows 3,638 yards for Wilson and 2,135 yards for the LSU QB's.

Just having a little fun here, but I do agree that good QB play - and playcalling that allows it to happen - would make LSU incredibly tough to beat next year. I am still a little down about the Dome Debacle, but I am very much looking forward to next year and FINALLY being done with the Perilloux fallout era.

2 completely untested (sophomores) qb's like 2008 and unless the Tigers get a phenom that can compete as a true freshman then they will only have 2 option. Add in the fact that miles has mentioned more than once that we may move one to wide out leaves only one. How in the hell did we do this to ourselves again?!?

I'm not sure I would go that far, but I like the way you think!

it will be an ALMOST exact copy of this past season. With some key exceptions:

A. OOC schedule should allow for more FR/SO game exposure than this year's

B. Bama gets beaten by more than 6 points this regular season.

C. LSU wins the BCS National Championship.

even then the freshman isn't gonna play. After Mett, its gonna be rivers or randall or a combo of the 2.
