Any good? If not, any suggestions in the Hammond/Ponchatoula area?
Topila's (sic) in Hammond is very good. Never had a bad meal there and price is reasonable. Highly recommend the shrimp cheesecake for appetizer.
He hasn't played 3 snaps in the last two games much less 3 series. His lack of PT late in the season would put him and the team at a huge disadvantage. At this point, CLM will go with JJ the whole way regardless of how poorly he may play. FWIW, I'll be glad for this whole episode/drama to end after the championship game, and I'm a Lee fan. Bring on Mett....
Went to Hattiesburg to watch LSU softball against USM because that is close to my home and my kids are big Tiger fans. USM, on an eight game losing streak, completely housed the tigers 7-0. I was so disappointed watching the lady Tigers play uninspired ball and lose to an inferior team. Hope the season improves from this point moving forward. However, if the pitching doesn't get more consistent, it may be a struggle this year.
Keith Melancon (sic) is an orthopedic in Hattiesburg
I think he would fit in Tennessee also
Who would you like to see Flynn play for next season?
I agree 100%. If the LB's are as good as the secondary Freshmen, we should be set.
Our roster this season list 9 Freshmen LB's, someone has to step up and play next year. I think Carnell Hatcher moved to LB may be a nice option similar to Eric Alexander a few years back. If Chavis and Miles have an eye for LB talent the way they did this year for CB/S talent, this group should produce some good players for the Tiger D.

re: I love PP7 and Nevis but dang

I thought PP was soft last night, not coming up to support the run, but A&M worked him on the timing routes, outs and dig routes. Nevis, I agree, was a non factor last night. Looked like they were playing not to get hurt.

Hate to hear that, I thought he was coming back this year...Medical redshirt??

When does Will Blackwell return??

Anyone heard any status on Blackwell? I thought he was our most physical blocker up front and we need him back.

re: Why is Tolliver inconsistent??

Perfect example, the potential touchdown he dropped late from JJ that hit him right in the chest.
Good post. Auburn is a good team with a great quarterback and similar talent level of LSU. If that game were played in Baton Rouge, we may have won with the home field advantage. I think 9-3 is where we will land...10-2 would be a fantastic season!

Why is Tolliver inconsistent??

Tolliver has all the tools to be a big time player but seems to drop 1-2 passes each game that should be caught. BUT, he seems to be the go-to guy on 3rd and 4th down plays and has made almost all those catches. Is is lapses in concentration? Do the two QB's throw different balls (speed, spiral, ect.) With JL at QB, he could be a 6-10 catches per game type of player.
It's hard to call a player a bust when he gets 3 touches a game. For him to be effective, he needs 8-12 touches per game and will probably break at least one for big play. Sure he has dropped a few passes, but Tolliver has too.
It wasn't the game plan. Even though we gave up a ton of rushing yards, we only gave up 17 points thru mid 4th quarter. Offensively, we just didn't get it done...17 points won't win many games in any league.
