Sears is worse than Cook because Sears commits too many turnovers. Cook hogged the ball, but Sears doesn’t get assists either, even though he tries harder at that. Williams was good last year. He protected the ball, shot well, and played defense. I have no idea what has happened to him. Wright and Carter are comparable offensively, but Wright is better defensively, that’s why I said he’s better. Bailey is great at everything except outside shooting, so I think he’s a better version of Hannibal. All I’m saying is that I don’t agree that our rotation this year is better, mainly because we are so much more inexperienced. They have more talent, but it needs development.

Well, compared to the other SEC teams, we don't match their talent.

this is just stupid and wrong, sorry.

we had the 4th best recruiting class in the SEC. the issue is our coaches make our players look like bums because we have dogshit offensive xs and os. for example, mcmahon himself admitted that he was using robert miller incorrectly. a consensus top 100 player that had offers from a&m, texas, bama, etc. but yet we have no talent. you put robert miller in a competent system with competent coaching it is night and day i PROMISE you.

talent is not the problem. you give this team to a good coach this is EASILY a round of 32 team.

The only potential win remaining on LSU’s schedule is South Carolina and that’s less than a 50/50 proposition.

Football, Baseball, Men's basketball, and Women's basketball are the only sports that make a profit. I would hope Woodward cares about Men's basketball.

Well, recruiting rankings mean nothing anymore, except for pre-season hype.

I have eyes and can see who the better team and players are when LSU is on the court. I hope you are right though and these "talented" players are put in the position to win some games in the SEC.

So you don’t believe coaching and development plays any part in outcomes or how a team looks?

Yes, but you have to have Coaching/Development AND Talented players to be successful in the SEC - especially this year.

I just don't see it, yet.

yes

MBB? since when did this profit. It sure did not in the past.

FOOTBALL pays the bills either way. baseball does not make enough to pay the bills like football.

We have enough talent to finish in the top 12 of the SEC which would put us into the NCAA tourney. On the coaching and development side we’re bottom level of all P5 teams which is why we get the results we get.

You really think a 4 - 14 or 5 - 13 SEC record will get us in the NCAA tournament? The very least would be 7 - 11 and we are not getting 7 wins in the SEC. Right now, I would be "happy" with 3 wins.
