Pac one my arse. You need to get beyond this nonsense. NO, Washington will not be in position to beat LSU. It will take the new coach a while to repair the damage done by the previous head master.

How many consecutive Pac-10 titles for USC?

Really? 'Cause this stupid fricking thread, which is an obvious troll, was quite easy to see.
IF it were to happen, AND LSU ran the table, COULD they still get into the BCSCG?

Didn't USC lose in 2007 to stanford?
or am I thinking of some other team?

Yeah, I can just imagine you sitting around wondering, "Hey! What if LSU lost to the shittiest Pac-10 team...I imagine it's might be possible for them to finish their schedule undefeated after that. Heck, they might even make it into the BCSCG! But still, that loss to UW..."
Shut up. Please.

Yes, that would be the easiest 1-loss scenario that puts us in the game, in fact.
However, from a psychological impact, it would be hard to recover. Even if it was a 27-24 OT loss to UW, on a rain-soaked field in a hostile stadium...there's very little opportunity for LSU can come through it with any sort of moral victory if we lose. I guess if it's a real or perceived bad call, but that would work better against a more highly regarded opponent. Stranger things have happened - 2007 for example, one mid-season loss and one late loss (and both OT - Rant blast from the past "undefeated in regulation").

If LSU loses to UW then they is done for the year and Miles could be on the hot seat....
People keep forgetting LSU has a chip on their shoulder also from last year.
Difference between LSU & UW.
LSU 8-5 = bad season
UW 5-8 = good season.

LSU loses it's first game of the season. Then runs the table by beating Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas, and you wonder if they will make it to the Big Dance?????
I dunno, beating 5 top 15 teams and the reigning NC who is rated #1. . .
Who else could compare that type of season?
As improbable as the first premise is, it is followed by an equally improbable result.
GEEZ.

LSU should win but I don't think it will be a large margin. This game reminds me all too much of the Oregon State game in 2004, although that was a home game, we should have steam rolled them at home and we ended up going to OT and winning on a missed PAT by them.
