Yes. A 12-1 SEC Championship Game winner will not be denied a shot at the MNC.

Yeah...OK...Tell that to Auburn in 04 and see how far you get with that one...oh, my bad...they were 13-0 SEC Champions.

None of you know what the hell you are talking about, or you are very gullable. You know USuCk is climbing the charts while playing all of the 1-AA quality teams in their schedule just waiting on the better teams above them to lose...

we don't play The Citadel

and USC won't be undefeated this year.

and this statement just proves that YOU don't know what you're talking about. Voter bias for USC is more than compensated by their being trashed in computer polls.

Yes,because of the formula.12-1 SEC team, would have to beat so many ranked teams, that they would be a sure thing with the polls and computers.Don't think it would be even close IMO.

OK, follow up question: what if LSU beats UF, but then loses to Bama and then wins out. Even still then?

Really??

Let me get this straight, your asking if we lose to Bama, then we don't play in the SECCG, we should play for the national championship?

REALLY?????

Well USC and Texas won't both be undefeated...and LSU doesn't play the Citadel...and the BCS formula is much different than it was in 2004...

But nice try.

We are too high in the polls (computers) for something like the Auburn 04 fiasco to happen again to the SEC. rankings

Wouldn't be that far outside the realm of possibility. LSU's computer score would still be really high.

If we lose to Alabama, and say they lose to Auburn and Ole Miss then LSU would still play in the SECCG

That was Gary Danielson's prediction to start the season. LSU beats Florida - loses to Bama - Florida beats Bama in SECCG - LSU plays Florida in nat'l champ game. Still possible with our computer rankings...who knows.
