Baseball is a crazy sport. Whoever generates hits with runners in scoring position has a chance to win it. These games will be close throughout the weekend for sure. Just take it one at a time.

You know the commentary will be wall to wall with the Mangum/Duplantis race to for the SEC hits record. Which Duplantis has no shot of winning so its going to be unbearable.

It would not take a miracle for LSU to win 2 baseball games this weekend. I’m not saying they will do it but if it happened I wouldn’t be surprised. If Hess and Henry pitch like they did last weekend LSU can easily win - couple 1-0 or 2-1 game. They could also lose those games 1-0 or 2-1. Last weekend they split those exact types of games.

Mangum's hitting .407 on the season with 5 strike outs. If you walk him he will steal 2nd & maybe 3rd. The 3 hitters behind him are hitting .376 .356 & .349 with power.

If you’ve watched MSU at all you’d know it’s going to be a tough weekend.
If Hess goes 7-8 and the bats spontaneously combust, we get Friday only to be smacked in the face Sat and Sun.
What is States last 3 games scoring #’s? Believe it was like 50-3 in the past 3 games ..

State's pitching gave up 15 runs last Sun against Auburn but won 20-15. Their Sun pitching is suspect but when you can score 20 runs your pitching can be suspect.
