If LSU beats Alabama, should they be #1?

In both the polls and with the CFP committee? I don't care what the teams in front of them do, I think so. Just food for thought.

LSU should be #1 in the only poll that matters right now just based on body of work vs other top teams body of work.
If they beat Bama they will most certainly be #1.

They won't be even though they should. Baylor isn't leaving the top 2 if they go undefeated and neither is Ohio state.

Ohio state being ranked #1 right now is 100% on last years success. That's why pre season, and early season polls are complete BS

Eh i think with a win @bama would at least get us to 2. If its by a decent margin we will take a decent amount of votes from OSU.

They'll be #1 when the Playoff committee votes on Tuesday. So yes, if they win they'll stay at #1

He can no longer tout that Clemson is the only team that had beating a top___ team
He was saying they were they only team in the county to beat a Top 12 school a week or so ago because Notre Dame was ranked like 11th or 12th and Florida, who we had beaten, was ranked 13th.

While it may be dumb I will never begrudge a HC for sticking up for his team after the screw job Okie state got in 2011. Saban got a 2 hour hype session on game day as a guest host while Gundy took the high road in all of his post game press stuff. Low and behold Bama makes the jump. Though Im not sure it would have made a difference Im sure Gundy wishes he could go back and do things differently.
