I'll put it this way. I would rather go 6-6 with no bowl, if it means he comes back, over 11-2 and he leaves.

I would prefer Les.
Eta damn autocorrect. Thinking I meant less, when Les is more.

Sad.
We've hit 2 great coaches in a row. Odds are, the next one will be a dud.

Would be a very sad day. Love him or hate him, Miles has given this program and this state his all and will go down as the best ever at LSU.

Hopefully, the LSU days of taking a guy with no college/pro HC experience is behind us.

Exactly. When Les is gone, the Miles haters will unfortunately get their wish, and its very hard to hire 4 straight good coaches, much less 3 straight elite coaches.

I would want a HC. Hopefully, the LSU days of taking a guy with no college/pro HC experience is behind us

This is his 10th season as HC. Some crazy times but so many great games, seasons, and memories.
As much as I wanna say glad I have to agree with this. What a great great time in LSU football and not just the wins or championships.

I think he leaves when he's the all time winningest coach at LSU. He wants to become our Bo IMO.

sad. I love me some Les Miles. I love that he actually has a personality unlike most coaches. Guy has some passion in him, and you can see it in the way his players play. I like what we have going. I especially like what we have building right now on the field. At least stay through Moses and possibly Dinkleman's (if he does come here) career. That's about another 7 years, which is asking a lot I know.

Depends...
If loss #2 is a another 21-0 embarrassment in the NCG, he could not be gone fast enough.

Would you be mad, sad or glad. And why.
Sad, obviously.
Despite the histrionics of most on this board, even if you really felt Miles was a historic underachiever at LSU (an absurd accusation but whatever) the notion that you can go out and plug in a BETTER option simply because you have a desire to is laughable. College football is littered with examples of going from the frying pan and into the fire with coaching changes that went from bad to worse. It's far rarer to find examples of going from a solid/great coach to an even better coach.
Assuming you grasp that, being glad or indifferent about seeing Miles leave after this level of success and stability ought to be cause for being laughed at.
