I would hope people would just realize that obviously JJ is ready to play and would only embarrass himself on the field with no playbook comprehension.

Or Lee can stay on the field an embarass himself by throwing 3 or 4 ints a game.

a. He needs practice so Miles should let him get some confidence.

B. Miles is stupid not to let other QB's get experience.

I choose a. until the game is out of reach and then sub.

If I remember right, during the Great Saban days, LSU would play a rent-a-win team and would never get far enough ahead to let the subs play much. Ex. UAB...oh, LSU lost that game....sorry

i think Les HAS to get JJ a few snaps simply so he can have some sort of game experience in case he is needed for ole miss, ark, or a bowl game. i say even if lee is playing good JJ HAS to get in for a few plays

Regardless of what our opinions of Jarrett lee and JJ are, JJ needed time against Tulane to prepare for Injury. He is all we have behind Lee.

It's true then that he only knows 5 plays.

Will be based on his stats. If he throws more pick sixes it will probably inclined to shoot the TV.

Jefferson.

Lee knows more than 5 plays, but he can only execute a few of them.

a better question, What if Lee plays the whole game and has a great game?(i.e. no INTs, 3 or 4 td's and 300 yards passing)
I for one would be happy.

Rather than help our young QB, it appears the receivers have quit on him. The routes are sloppy, they aren't giving the extra effort.

i dont think this is true at all, but if it were, maybe they see something in practice that we don't? can cut both ways for those using that logic to defend others.

it's troy state.

with that said, if JJ doesn't get some playing time, I think the team quits.

shock. however, I think if he plays, our results could be the same as RP playing a full game against Mid Tenn last year. Probably not 22 of 25 but a solid performance and a Win. This would be the game plan: 1. give to scott 2. give it to keiland 3. scott again and then 4. dump it to #18. Easy win. No pick 6. let J lee come in to mop up against the 2nd team and get some confidence. BOOM

I'm not going to trash Lee. He is doing his best and should be supported given the position he has been forced into. However, I would be upset with Miles for going back on what he said in his press conference and not giving JJ some playing time in what will hopefully be a blowout.

Right now, Jarrett Lee does not give LSU a chance to win.

Another game of: "well take away that pick 6, and LSU wins".

The program has to do what's best. And it's up to Les Miles to make this call.

I do not envy him one single bit.

He's seeing only a little bit of a bad side of LSU fans right now.

Imagine 5-6 losses... YIKES

I would have to start questioning some things I think. I have not turned on the staff team or certain players like some on here have but I do expect JJ to see the field often Saturday

My reaction is the same as seeing Hester get all the carries last year. Seeing Flynn throw a 30 yard duck of a hail mary pass against arkansas.

Geez the guys only won a NC for you last year. What more do you want? Really, tell me; I'd really like to know.
