Except he wasn't here for 2 years and ran off. He was here for well over a decade and didn't do anything in that decade other than a great CWS run that ended with Florida as the champs.

I still don't trust it. The TN offer could have been purposely leaked to tell others to move along or for Sexton to get bigger bids. While I don't doubt that TN would try to outbid anyone, I still don't believe that they have done that yet.

My point is that there seems to be some leaking going on because I’ve heard the 2.1 number from multiple places now. People I trust. And the radio show in Nashville saying they’ve offered him top dollar seems calculated.

I think the ball is back in UTe's court. I think LSU offered 2.1M and Sexton brought this back to UTe to get more money. Hints to why you are hearing some rumors that UTe will make him the highest paid coach. The next few days will be interesting.
