Definitely would prefer a win, but I won't be bent out of shape if we do lose. And I kinda wanna see the chaos ensue if that were to happen.

I'm all for what starts the rebuild fastest. That's what's best for the program.

Don't really give a frick about Ed O but I want these kids to have as positive an experience as possible while they represent LSU. So no, never really willing to root against the Tigers.

The more games we get embarrassed, the more current players will leave, the more recruits will jump ship, and the more LSU will be the butt of national jokes. The best case realistic scenario for all parties is a competitive 7-5 finish, show him the door quietly, and have the next coach ready to go.

No but I will not get pissed off like I normally would whenever we lose. I wasn’t even that mad that we lost on Saturday, just dumbfounded tbh.

O is gone after Bama worst case scenario imo. He’s gone. It’s over.

Can't fire him after the Bama loss. Can't give them the satisfaction. Will be done before then.

Never have understood this mindset. This is not the NFL where if you get last you get rewarded. No one knows what the future holds. Coach O is either good enough to be the coach at LSU or hes not. I am not worried about it because Woodward is going to do what's best. If you play your cards right its possible to let Coach O go and keep your recruiting class.

No but I'm not gonna cry either with a loss.

I'm just enjoying the shite show at the moment. It's incredible seeing such a high profile figure destroy his legacy (fractured as it already is) and become a true villain by his own doing.

I would never route for LSU to lose.

That said, I wouldn’t be heart broken by a loss and firing of O in a 3 day span….

This.

That’s a worst case scenario imo. He’s gone after the next loss

Woodward won’t fire him until the season is over. Firing him mid-season just increases the likelihood of a big name HC target receiving a contract extension from wherever they are coaching right now. We will have more options if we wait.

Regardless of how the next 7 games go…..
O is gone the Sunday after we play A&M.
Woodward already prepping his candidate list.
He will go get his guy and I’m hoping it’s Napier or Fickell.

They’ve been losing already to teams they shouldn’t, what’s one more at this point? End the pain!

To Kentucky this week?

The Auburn loss was too much especially the way it happened. His choice for OC didn't know how to run clock and O didn't get on him mid-4th for not doing it. They just let it happen or worse planned it.

ETA: for the idiots in the room, Ed is to blame for the Auburn loss. His job is to run the team, which includes the coordinators. So his OC had a terrible 4th Q gameplan and O didn't correct him or change it. That's on O. Running clock in the 4th with a lead is Football 101.
