His record is something like 27-41 as a head coach. You think out of all the options, someone who couldn’t succeed at small schools, is going to be the best option at a school like LSU?

The situations aren’t that dissimilar
After Miles was fired we didn’t get our top choice (Herman) and the AD just said frick it promote the interim guy
I’m not convinced our current AD is any better than that one.

Hmmmmm..... if LSU is willing to pay Kiffen, seems like they would go after another big dollar coach. I love Frank, but that would be a huge step down from Kiffin.

Who are these "other candidates"? You will not know until after the Kiffin pursuit. We all love Frank, but as a Head Coach he is simply not qualified for this position with his previous HC record.
