One of the most significant things Burrow did when he came in was let everybody, especially the other players, that he was there to compete, earn, and hold that starting spot.

Everybody wanted to get a measure of him- it took one practice and they knew.

You are correct. My bad. Still, he’ll have the compete and it’ll be an open playing field for all three QBs. I have nothing against Brennan.

In those three games, Brennan threw for over 1100 yards and 11 touchdowns (actually 12, but officials missed the receiver’s foot down in the end zone and no replay review was taken) with a new (and poor) offensive line that was being blown up over center. I’d wager the job is Brennan’s to lose.

My complaint about MB is that he never had a headset on while Burrow was playing in 18 and 19. He should have had them on learning. I don't think we will see him this time either.
I'm sure it's been said by now but there are only so many headsets allowed

This game has nothing to do with Coach Kelly’s offense that will be run next year. I would rather Brennan do exactly what he is doing right now. Learning Brian Kelly’s offense.

well i get that, but i was talking about in terms of him getting more involved in the game plan and strategy parts of the game as a learning experience more then it being anything practical as far as the plays being used,

Don’t get in the way but definitely having a presence. Similar to how McConauhey is with UT.

As gay of a post as this is ; the mcconahay part did make me laugh.
