And if not for divine intervention and the players themselves grabbing their sacks and manning up...Miles would have had an L against Troy as well. He lead that team to 3 and 1/2 quarters of the ugliest football I've ever seen...only to have his players bail him out while he stood on the sidelines looking like we just underwent a lobotomy.

That is unacceptable for an LSU coach and should be unacceptable for every real fan and ticket holder. The product on the field during the month of September was God awful
O did turn the momentum but it was a very weak last half of schedule.
The first month of next season will tell a lot of what to expect with Orgeron.
I was against the hire and still don't think he can do what needs to be done at LSU to make it a national power yet again.
Time will tell

Miles was fired for a better coach to come in and right the ship.
Not to lose to troy and Moo State and Alabama.
Miles NEVER lost to a sunbelt team and had an unbelievable out of conference record.
I thought miles should have been fired but not to hire a dline coach with one of the worst head coaching records ever in the sec

I don't know why idiots keep posting this shite like fact.
The previous coach was fired because he was repeatedly outcoached, couldn't figure out what purpose the game clock served and lying to his boss telling him he would change the offense and not doing it.
He was NOT fired for going 9-3.
Just do a google search for "Les Miles clock management". Here's a few from just looking at the results on the google page. It doesn't include the TN gaffe and others.

I am neither pro or anti O. I am only pro LSU. But the amount of time the pro O peeps put into this, I do wonder if DP has hired a team of Chinese to create straw accounts.

Yeah, sucks doesn't it. The majority of LSU fans actually support the LSU coach. Crazy huh? !!!!
What I still find funny is the love for coaches of other teams. Especially two coaches who told LSU to frick-off. Weird !!!
I am glad the LSU coach did MUCH better than the clowns who told LSU to shove-it after using LSU to get other jobs and huge raises. frick them !!!

Keep telling yourself that. We had a bigger rebuilding job than most people thought. Offensive line, linebackers, dbacks, quarterback not what was expected. Besides new O coordinator. No one is giving O a pass by the way, but I saw enough not to feel negative about next year.
