If "Herm-Bo" Goes 9-3 This Season...Is The Climate Different on the Rant?

I say hell yeah!
If either one of these turds had showed up in BR and lead this same team to 9-3, many of you would have said "ahhhhhhh.....good start! Something to build on with all the new changes and such."
But because O was a bad hire...it counts for nothing.
Care to defend you position on this matter?

And if O had anything like the seasons at Texas or Florida A&M, everyone would be calling for his head. Yet Fisher gets a pass because he had one great season and Herman gets a pass cuz it's his first season... but O doesn't get a pass? For a much much better season?
Hermans team lost to a 4-8 Maryland team. Fishers beat a 4-8 Syracuse team by 3. Yet since Orgeron's team barely lost to a 10-2 Troy team, he gets hammered.

UGA was 8-5, 4-4 in the SEC during Smart's first year.
They lost to Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia Tech.
They also barely beat Nicholls St. 26-24

Thr black eye on the season is the month of September. Losing to Troy and a mediocre at best Miss St. team put a bad taste in everyone's mouth. The rest of the season is considered successful bc of the turn around...but even if we finish woth 10 wins, this season will be scarred by September.

Jimbo can afford one down season after all he has established.
Texas was an actual rebuild, LSU was not.. remember Texas hasn’t even been bowl eligible for years?
I don’t think either Jimbo or Herman would do worse than O did this season at LSU and you can actually be optimistic about next season with both. It’s much more cautious with O and the schedule next season. We shall see.

Honestly, are you talking up the Troy loss? They were dominating us, and were driving mid 4th quarter to go up 31-7. They fumbled, and we scored a couple late TDs against prevent defense to make it look respectable. But it wasn't.
As for Jimbo -- one great season? Uh, Jimbo was 83-23, (48-17 ACC) at FSU. In 8 years, he won his division 4 times, finished 2nd twice. This year was a cluster, but his prior 7 years earns him a pass.
Texas was in bad shape when Herman took over. Yes, he lost a couple bad games, but also took USC to OT on the road, lost to OU by 5, and to Okie State by 3. Next year's important for Herman, but Texas showed some improvement this year.
O didn't inherit a rebuild. We've had top recruiting classes as long as I can remember. O was supposed to take us to the next level.
That's why O doesn't get a pass.

2012: 12-2 (Conference Champs, Orange Bowl Win)
2013: 14-0 (Conference and National Champs)
2014: 13-1 (Conference Title, loss to Oregon in Rose Bowl playoff semifinal)
2015: 10-3 (loss in Big 6 Peach bowl)
2016: 10-3 (win in Big 6 Orange Bowl)
2017: 5-6 (left before becoming bowl eligible)
