Unproven, yes. But they are definitely talented. I have heard many great reports on a couple of them. The light has supposedly come on for Phillips to beat out Taylor. Taylor had a solid freshman campaign and will only get better in year 2... Aranda has bragged on Queen’s improvement this offseason as someone who could spell White when needed. I have also heard Rashard Lawrence and Greedy say Baskerville looks very good so far. Damone Clark is another freshman who came in looking good from a physical standpoint. I think the ILB core will be just fine even if injuries hit. No one wants White to go down, but they could make due.

If this defense comes out doing what we know it can do, and we can squeak by Miami, we can afford a couple games to tune the offense up.
By then, just a few sustained drives, a few guaranteed points per game, and some balance by the offense should allow us to compete with freaking anybody. I hate having a melancholy offense--we've had it for too long and it's frustrating. But for someone who loves incredible defense, I'm really looking forward to ours in '18 because it'll be one to remember--like holding literally every team but one to 20 or fewer points in '16.

I know Corey Raymond put him higher on the depth chart then Greedy. I know Dave Aranda said he would have started over Greedy if he was eligible last year.
So basically Dave Aranda, Corey Raymond and I all think he’ll be a top flight corner.

Explain to me right now how you suggrst that we could have the best CB duo with a CB that has 2 tackles in his career and has been in the doghouse for so long. That’s exactly what I mean when I say you have on purple and gold shades. When you say shite like this as an LSU fan, it makes the more sane LSU fans look bad.

if what you are saying is correct, than even without Fulton next year the defense should be top 5 in the country. one CB can't possibly make that big of a difference when we have other CB's on the roster that are by no means slouches

I said they could be. We have the best cornerback in the country on one side and a kid that has beat him out in practice on the other side.
