Think he’ll get serious consideration for the Heisman? Not a ton, thinking 3-5 touches a game max if that. Maybe a couple Redzone TDs.

No. LSU record won't be good enough and they'll be other darlings to catch the national eye.

Come on man take off the p&g glasses and think about what you just said. Devin White is a very good LB but the chances of him even being mentioned as a Heisman candidate are slim to none no matter how many times he touches the ball.

Think about what it takes to play at a high level and roam sideline to sideline for 60 to 80 plays . Do you rally think Devin White needs to be in the game on offense for a few plays each game or is he and the defense better served with resting between possessions?

The chance for injury is higher and the likelihood of a turnover with someone who is not routinely carrying the football increases and those reasons alone rule out White playing offense.

This. The trophy and selection committee have lost all credibility in recent years. It no longer goes to the best player, but a major contributor player for the best team. Sad to see such a prestigious award turn into a popularity/arse kissing contest.

Fournette 100% deserved that award the year that Henry won it and he was robbed because the selection committee didn’t take the time to look at what he accomplished on a per-game basis and instead gave it to a guy who played more games and had more total yards, but averaged like 50 YPG less than Fournette and had fewer per-game everything than Fournette.

This thread is dumb but ur comment is worse

Fournette had like 20 yards rushing our last 4 games that season. When the chips were on the table LSU folded up like a lawn chair. No one on that team deserved shite nevertheless the Heisman.

you have no fricking clue what you're talking about.

in 2015 LF had the 2nd best rushing season in sec history only bested by the year HW won the Heisman.
he was the 1st sec rb to lead the country in rushing in 60+ years.

educate yourself instead of regurgitating bullshite rant myths

Henry rushed for less than 100 yards 5 times.

Lf rushed for less than 150 3 times.

What am I missing?

D. Henry: 395att 2295yds 28tds 5.6ypc

L. Fournette: 300att 1953yds 21tds 6.5ypc

Comon man I love buga as much as the next fan but ur dumb if u think if he had a better season than Henry. Like I mentioned LSU shite their pants at the end of the season and that’s when buga had multiple bad games in a row Henry/Alabama dumptrucked their opponents including LSU while he was going for 200+ a game.

U have no clue what ur talking about.

missing the part where the ncaa rushing title is determined by rushing yards per game.

yeah one of really doesn't and it not me.

again, educate yourself instead of regurgitating bullshite rant myths.

he did. you're really gonna say Henry was better because he played in 2 more games?

had LF had Henry's carries he would be smashed the sec rushing record.

I’m not gonna sit here and argue on behalf of a bama player but u are the reason LSU fans have a bad rap. Take ur fricking p&g glasses off, one player for a national championship all the while dominating the best opponents, just because he had bad games early on means nothing. The exact opposite happened for Buga. He played like the hulk against Syracuse but like a fairy against bama/arky etc. One was a champion dominating on the biggest stage and the other dominated week 3. Stfu
