What if plays qb, linbacker , punts ( he’s qb, so we’re never gonna punt . Duh) , kicks extra points , and directs the band at half time ???? Will he win it then , lol. You people are insufferable!!!!!!!

I think if he was having a light out season giving him a touchdown or 2 to boost his Heisman candidacy would be fun

Hahahhaa keep throwing insults loser you seem to love going to the Texas bowl.

I’m not defending Henry or any inbreds anymore. Buga is a machine and got let down by les. Ur dumbass opinion that he deserved the Heisman doesn’t change that.

What could go wrong putting an All American lb'er at rb for a few carries

Look dumb as, if our OL performs, our backs are very capable of running thru the holes....DW wouldn't fair ANY better if the line isn't doing well.

What a bad idea that would be.

Rather than try to wring an extra drop of performance from one our key top performers, lets look @ some of the numerous underutilized superior athletes we typically have on any LSU team and get some production there.

The trophy and selection committee have lost all credibility in recent years.

I’m 55. I remember them giving three heismans to Archie Griffith. I remember them giving it to a defensive back instead of Peton Friggin Manning. They lost credibility a looong time ago.

Whether you think this is a good idea or not, it is a good issue to remind us that it is possible that next year’s most talented RB for LSU may be playing LB.

It no longer goes to the best player,

Didn’t Lamar Jackson win it two years ago while taking his team to a 4 loss season?

I’d say the facts prove you wrong.

Since 2000:

5 Heisman winners played for regular season unbeaten teams (Winston, Newton, Smith, Ingram, Leinart)

6 Heisman winners played for regular season 1-loss teams (Henry, Bradford, Mariota, White, Crouch, Weinke, Mayfield)

4 Heisman winners played for regular season 2/3-loss teams (Manziel, Palmer, Tebow, Griffin)

So 11 out of the last 17 winners had 1 or fewer losses, 16 out of the last 17 winners had 3 or fewer losses, and Lamar Jackson was the first Heisman winner since 1969 to play for a team with 4 losses, I'd say that facts prove YOU wrong, dumbass.

First off, the man’s name is GRIFFIN.

B) he is the only TWO time Heisman winner. Nobody has ever won it 3 times.

serious consideration for the Heisman?

If the Honey Badger didn't win it in '11 then it's more than a little unlikely a linebacker could win it, let alone a LB from LSU.

TM7 was the most valuable player and playmaker on a 13-0 LSU team. He was responsible for winning two games against Top 10 competition and contributed heavily to another game against Oregon.
RG3 had no business beating him that year regardless of stats. The Heisman is a sham.

If Devin White takes some snaps at RB this season
What am I missing?

What you are missing is the total number of games Alabama played that season

LSU played 11 regular season games, one canceled [McNeese] due to weather and 1 bowl game for a total of 12 games played

Alabama played 12 regular season games, a SEC championship and two bowl games for a total of 15 games played

Henry had 3 more games to rack up more yards.

Fournette is and was the better running back and if he would have played 15 games and Henry played 12 games there is no way Henry would have won the Heisman and LF would have set records and would have gone down as the greatest season ever.

Not to mention if LF ran behind the Alabama offensive line
