you have to look @ the teams we still have to play! bama, ole miss, gators, hogs, aggies!!!
this will be a very good gauge of the current staff - only one coach out there could run that or win 3 of 5 !!!!!

All I know is that we better keep Aranda until he's ready to move on. He is the real deal.

Not sure, but I want Jerry Rice as the WR coach.

O is already the head coach. Question is what failures will it take for him to lose the job.

Way tooo early to consider who the next OC will be, but if should Coach win out look no further than the OC at texas, Sterlin Gilbert, who should be available when Tom Herman goes to his dream school, UT. Do like what Coach Steve Ensminger is doing, would keep him on staff too. Then in 3 yrs find someone to replace Aranda, he's head coach somewhere.

So we fired Miles so we could hire a HC who was 3-21 in conference in his only stint as a HC, and hire an OC who hasn't been an OC in 18 year

No. We fired Les Miles because he had the program going in the wrong direction. If O and Ensminger are the best options to lead the program in the right direction, then they will be given the full time positions. That is yet to be determined.

He will not be. So, why even bring it up?

We were unhappy with a dude winning almost 80% of his games, but you want a guy who hasn't been able to win 50% of his games to take over?

I didn't say I want Coach O, I asked the question "IF" he were given the HC job. The only way I think he gets any real consideration is if he runs the table or loses a VERY close & competitive game to bama. And honestly, if he can run the table with the remaining schedule LSU has, if ANYONE would run the table with the remaining schedule LSU has, then you'd have to give that person some serious thought. Do I think it'll happen? No. Is Coach O my top choice? No.

Why? Is 43.5 points a game not good enough for you? I believe that should coach O get the job, that coach O should be the one to make that call.

Whomever is hired, they need the green light to hire their own staff.
I agree with this, but I would definitely consider it a red flag if that said coach wanted to get rid of Aranda. That coach would be an idiot.
