Don't know the relationship he has with Ensminger but would be keep him as OC? Or would he go after a homerun hire? Having said that, I do believe the only way Coach O gets the HC job is if he runs the table, including either a win or a VERY competitive & close loss to bama. And if that happens, with Ensminger as the OC, does LSU need to go after another OC? I mean, if O & Ensminger can resurrect this offense enough to run the table against this schedule, that would be pretty damn impressive.

Kiffin. I want Kiffin. Did I mention Kiffin? We had our good guy coach for 11 years. I'm ready to void all morals to win.

What if you void all morals and lose?

Whomever is hired, they need the green light to hire their own staff. If Coach O is comfortable with Ensminger, fine. Same goes for Aranda and the rest of the staff. The AD should not mandate to a new coach who he should and should not keep.

If Coach O gets the job, which I don't think he will, it would be interesting to see if he reaches out to Kiffin. They have a good relationship.

Do not want Kiffen. Good things come from LSU, not bama.

Coach O, in my opinion, is smart enough to keep Steve Ensminger and let him install the offense he wants to install. LSU has the talent, now, in the coaching booth and on the field that next year, they implement what Ensminger wants to implement.

Of course, all this is dependent upon Coach O. remaining. How people don't like what he's done, so far...of course, they're not AlaBama caliber, yet, Saturday, the team tried to pull the ol' Les Miles, play nice to your opponent, and whatever steps were taken at halftime, they put paid to that crap. I like it.

I agree, though Saban's act wears thin on assistant coaches. Kiffin's next job will likely be a HC somewhere.

If you ask Jordy Culotta, he'll give a 5 minute diatribe on how Lane Kiffin will be the OC

Kiffin as OC would be a home run. But I can't see Kiffin leaving Bama except for a HC job.

I just don't think Kiffin leaves bama for anything other than a HC job, why would he? I also don't think Kiffin would want to work as a coordinator under someone who he was once the boss of. Finally, I don't want Kiffin anywhere around LSU's program. Outside of Nick Saban, I don't think there's another HC that can keep him on a leash

Whether LSU wins out or not we won'the able to accurately gauge things given the situation everyone has been thrust into. Next year Coach O and Ensminger can I stall a revamped system and I'm on things can only get better!

We were playing against him Saturday Night. Shannon Dawson.

Young, energetic, sharp offensive mind, players love to play for him.

He has the Louisiana / Mississippi connection for recruiting.

So we fired Miles so we could hire a HC who was 3-21 in conference in his only stint as a HC, and hire an OC who hasn't been an OC in 18 years?

Wow, you people sure love anybody wearing a purple polo.

And don't get me wrong, I LOVE the new energy Coach O has brought and I love the offensive productivity under Ensminger.

But, come on, really?

I'm just mystified that if Miles would've tweaked just a few things he might still be the coach.
How hard is it to get the TE involved in the offense.
How hard is it to spread WR's out and run out of that formation where if you make one or two miss you have a lot more room to run.

Simple things.
