I just want to see the defense improve. We used to always have bad arse defenses we could count on to win the game with a weak offense. Lately we've had powerhouse offenses with the weakest defenses in LSU history. Let's get the defense rolling!

10-2, 7-1 in the SEC= making the playoffs. We currently only have 1 loss, and undefeated in conference... so we have room for 1 loss.
Saying we can't beat other teams if we lose to Ole Miss; crazy things happen. Look at Kentucky; they beat Ole Miss. Ole Miss beat the crap out of South Carolina. Surely, Kentucky would win a home game vs SC... right? But no, they got their teeth kicked in.
Now as to the OP, yeah the honeymoon is already over. People are pissed we keep losing openers, we want to at least get to October undefeated.

BK gets a pass this year due to the loss of so many key offensive weapons, and devastating injuries on both sides of the ball.
I personally think LSU gets rearranged by Ole Miss Saturday night, just based on the two teams' performances on the field in games played so far. But Brian Kelly will put together a solid gameplan, and won't go down without a fight

We have so many key season ending injuries. It’s just a tough spot. OM has injuries but not as many definitively “out”
