You think the players on the field can tell the difference between the sound of Booing a coach and the sound of Booing players?

That's just not true.

Keep defending Miles. Anyone of you defending this post are only proving you will settle for mediocrity from one of highest paid coaching staffs in the country with a top 5-10 budget and a recruiting base that is nearly unmatched by the fact that we have this much talent and no other major program in our state. At least back in my day when Mavk Brown was at Tulane, they were competitive.

Let all of that sink in while handwringing upon that magnificent 5-7 record that last 2 years in the West. Yet my ticket prices are not dropping and neither are my TAF fees.

Further the rationalization for booing a coach, is a coach under fire who does not teach his players that the boos are directed at the coach.

Players need to understand it is directed at the coaches. Coaches are responsible for teaching, which is part of their job, that the Boos are aimed at the coaches.

You're assuming that the players don't care when their coaches are booed or maybe that thought hadn't yet entered your pea brain.

At a college game, I'm not booing anyone except the officials when they frick up. I don't boo the opposing team, either.

There are very few exceptions to this, so if boos occur, it is to be understood to be directed at Miles, Cam, BDP, or some other coach.

I agree with your assessment. I think instead of booing fans need to chant, Les, Les,Les.
That way it is directed at the source of your frustration. Players will not take it as pointed at them.

So does that mean they all cheered for Les and the coaching staff when they scored on the next three drives without BH. Does Les get credit for putting TW on the punt return?

I'm pretty sure they were booing BH. He was sucking up the place. Not saying he deserved it, but they were booing him.

I'm guessing it's also directed at the coaches when I hear an entire section of good ole boys yelling out to "get the fricking n***** out the game"

I have seen the light now

I often wonder how people like that manage to live long enough and have the money to attend an LSU game.

OP is an idiot. There's no justification for booing anyone. And pretending that you can "aim" a boo at the coaches not the players? Damn that's dumb.
And let's be honest, if you boo as a player runs on the field, you are booing that player. And he knows it. To say that you are booing the coach for putting the player in but not the player for entering the game? Who came up with that crazy shite?

I've been going to LSU games since I was 5 and I've never heard anyone yell out racist comments at the game. I've heard the occasional comment which is usually followed by someone saying something or everyone giving them a WTF look.

When Danny came in, were those cheers for the coaches?
