Ideal lodging in BR for home game

Wanting to take my gf (OU alum) to the game this year in BR.
Haven’t been to a game in BR since college and I stayed with family that were students.
I am clueless on where a good place to look for lodging would be.
Is it even reasonable to look for something this late in the season in regards to price? I am clueless and appreciate any info.

I know, man. If only there were places on the Internet where you could look up reviews and shite about hotels and rental homes. That would be awesome!

Any of the major chains will be what you expect quality wise, but expensive around game weekends. I used Drury Inn in the past and I think it came with breakfast. There are bunch of chains along I-10 and I -12

They’ve made a lot of great renovations to the Belle and it’s a fun walk from there down to campus. Stop at Past Times on the way for a Poboy and some pizza and to go drink

If only there were places on the internet where you could ask people who are familiar with the best areas to stay in when attending an LSU home game.

Downtown has some cool places. Hilton and Watermark aren't cheap but they're nice rooms and a quick Uber ride away. Consider doing that and linger around the edge of campus for post game food/drinks so you can wait for contraflow traffic to die down.

3 mile walk to Tiger Stadium will definitely impress the gf!

Air bnb’s near campus are my go to when I come in for games. Better than the raggedy hotels BR has

I hear the Oyo hotel off Airline is really nice.

Hampton Inn at College and I-10 starts at $347 per night
Embassy Suites down the street starts at $379 per night
It will be cheaper farther east down I-10
It will be more expensive downtown.

I second this. It’s Close to campus and if you don’t stay all night you get a break on the rent.
