The OP apparently thinks being from California gives one an advantage at being QB. I’d love to see that scientific argument. Nothing against them just curious if high schools out west develop QBs differently from say somewhere else? Now if he was from say Alaska or Delaware then yeah that would be a detractor.

Lots of assumptions NeilArmstrong.

I think both are exceptional QBs!

Measurables only take you so far.. Levitt is a gamer.. just watch the his playoff game vs Texas.. so imo with that experience assuming he's healthy I don't see him losing the starting Job.. Longstreet has the tools no doubt.. let's see what he does on a Big stage.. Longstreet has the opportunity to gain an edge this spring. If he ultimately doesn't win the starting Job I hope he will be patient and realize weird and Lane can prepare this young man for greatness

I agree with you, and who knows, HL may just zoom past Leavitt while Leavitt is watching. the upside of HL is really high, and I just hope we at LSU get to see and enjoy his rise to fame.

Your post makes a lot of sense and Kiffin bought insurance and competition by adding Longstreet. I’m sure LSU ids very aware of the risks with Leavitt’s injury and I am also sure they have looked into it with their own doctors. That just might be part of the reason why this process has taken a long as it has. We have 3 QB’s in the stable now and it would not surprise me if Kiffin somehow brought in some more, the man knows what he is doing.

Indecisive did you watch him Play healthy when he had some good players around him? He carried Arizona St and if not for terrible D late upsets a vastly more talented Texas team. Sam absolutely diced a very good Texas D loaded w NFL talent. There's a reason he was number one QB n portal.. Longstreet has great measurables but let's see what he does with the lights on. And where are u getting head case from? Mad ASU fans? Id be pissed too if I was misdiagnosed risking My career so he said fk them and they are salty. He should have never played a down w that injury

You are talking to guys who think travelling the world is going to the Florida panhandle They probably have never even been out west.

CA is an awesome and huge state, with many different people and a shite load of beauty.

Yeah, like you know him personally.

Dude, he took an unranked team and led them to a conference title. Led them to the playoffs. Do some research next time before you spew forth nonsense.

I was already laughing but I pissed myself when I read "From California"....can't believe anyone is even responding to this. Get a grip and look at actual stats. Also, California sucks.

9 out of the 32 NFL starting QB’s are from California
