I dont have a dog in this fight, but i talked to a hs coach last night that attended some practices and said that all of the coaches hate Canada and avoid him. I guess it's like any other business relationship. If it's not working, a change must be made. Saban had Kiffin working wonders for him and still knew when it was time to cut bait. That's what this sounds like.
Just pray they replace him with someone better. Shouldn't be that hard.

If Canada wants to stay at least another year why would it be in LSU's best interests to simply hire Ensminger? He's already on the staff and could take over if things warrant Canada's termination.
To me this looks like O can't manage talented people with big egos. That's going to really limit the pool of coordinators.

From the radio news I heard, Canada dug himself too deep of a hole with his mouth to get out of. Canada knows that he has hurt is reputation even further with regards to being difficult to work with, and now he realizes that he should have kept his mouth shut. Too late and too bad for everyone.

No you dumbfrick but if you are one that says his only reason for success was because the sec sucked you would have to be a total dumbfrick to prop up Canada’s offense vs that same weak sec schedule...you are saying you haven’t claimed O has had success only bc the SEC is weak though correct?

Les did it 7/11 full years he was here and it would have been 8 if we played 13 games in 2015. And he did that was rarely a functional offense
This is a well put together team with an elite defensive coaching staff. We didn’t do anything different than year past. We didn’t score a ton of points we didn’t throw for 3000 yards. We just ran on people and had a good defense.
So yeah I think LSU will win 10-9 games with almost any coach st the helm. I think O is better than he was at Ole Miss but it looks like he is getting back into old habits.
Firing Canada to hire a guy based on whether he is loyal is what is going to get O back to where he was st Ole Miss.
