I wouldn't right now and both Herring and Jones could improve their draft stock tremendously by coming back.

AA sliders will eat Tanks alive and he will still swing to hit them 400 feet. He won’t see MLB sliders because he won’t hit .220 in AA.
Jump will have to make it as a relief pitcher as he couldn’t go 7 innings in a start if you spotted him the first 2 innings.

DJ Welter

Not hijack the post, but comparing him the worst starter in the history of LSU football-ouch!

Now that you've hijacked, an argument could be made that Speights is the new Welter.

ETA: also this thread hijacked versions is >>>>>>>>>>>> than the OP version.

Don’t know how the draft will fall out but I think Herring offers more versatility including starter potential than Jump. Bear made professional hitting adjustments this year that I never saw White make. Plus I think Jones will slot into a 1B/DH power role while Tanks is a huge question mark at 3B.

And all of this tells me why you’re not a professional scout/GM

You might want to take a time out and question whether or not to make post 114 because 113 was lacking thought, insight and knowledge of the subject.

And then you follow it up with this? My God, what kind of medication are you on? I normally don’t keep receipts, but this is too much not to bookmark.

Both bad calls, although I like Herring and Jones' prospects. Tommy White is just a better hitter than Jones, and he has just as much HR power. Plus, he can play a position besides first base. Maybe Jones can too, but he hasn't shown it.

Herring over Jump is not crazy. I think that one is close, but I'd still take Jump.

White could have been a top 15 after last year
Probably wished he could’ve struck while the iron was hot

He got off to slow start this season but still came on strong at end and either goes late first round or shortly after, might drop to comp round

Some other players passed him up this year as position players

Has to be that same dipshit that said Skenes would have a hard time being the mid-week starter for Tennessee. The odds of two people being this equally dumb have to be slim to none.
