I would like us to end our season with Arkansas after the merger.

Texas and Texas A@M will probably be the last game for each every year. I would love to get Arkansas at the back end each year.

Freak no, freak that 2:30 Black Friday game. If there was a way possible, I would love for it to be Oklahoma.

If the SEC goes with the pod system that was suggested by Peter Burns then TX/A&M as well as LSU/Ark will only be playing each other every other year. So it is possible if they have those 4 teams on the same rotation, then maybe you see A&M/LSU as last game of season one year and then the next A&M plays TX that weekend, while LSU plays Arky. However that would mean moving the LSU/A&M game to a different weekend in those years.

If the current pod system is accurate, we won’t play Arkansas every year. We also won’t play Alabama every year, either, unless it’s in the SECCG.
Keep A&M as the final game so we can continue to crush their late season dreams.

The last game of the year is “rivalry week”
Arkansas is not our rival.
A&M is our current rival and A&M doesn’t want Texas in the SEC.
If they do match up A&M and TX on the last week, we need to get OU in exchange!
Much more prestigious match up than playing the Pigs.

A&M rivalry was forced. Make Ole Miss Halloween week and then just figure out the schedule as they want. I liked Arkansas being the last game of the year.

Well if they go to 9 SEC games, perhaps the coaches will want to play 12 games over 14 weeks and have 2 open dates. This could be accomplished by moving the SEC title game to the 2nd Saturday in December, which is when the Army/Navy game is played. That way, Texas and Texas A&M can play on Thanksgiving and LSU can play them the last week of the year (1st Saturday in December)

If the SEC goes with the 2 8 team divisions, MIZZOU comes West and Bama and Auburn go East. I agree. My thinking is that if OU had no qualms about leaving the Big12 and getting out of the same league with Ok. State, then them playing LSU the last week should not be an issue.
In addition, once the Big12 went to that 9 game round robin, with the top 2 in the title game, OU in the last two times they have played Ok. State in Norman, the game was was earlier in the year. When it was in Stillwater, Ok. State played it the last week of the year.
OU has all the negotiation power here, they can tell Ok. State if you want to play as OOC, we can play in the first 3 games of the year before we start conference SEC play. Maybe week 2, both teams have a warmup game, play game 2, OU gets another warmup game and they start SEC play.

The only forced rivalry is the one they tried to create with the Hogs.
LSU has a long history with A&M and it was appropriate when they joined the SEC to drop the Hog game on rivalry weekend.

I agree 100%. I want Tulane back more than any other schedule detail. They are our natural, in-state rival, even if they aren't any good we should be beating them on the last week of the year every year.
