Give Swann, Collins and Hurley all a chance. Let’s see something different. May give some excitement for the end of the season… Because man these last 3 weeks have been tough…

You want to take away reps from next year’s starting QB who desperately needs in game experience and give them to the 4th string QB?

Not gonna happen unless Nuss gets hurt.

Nuss isn't playing here next year if Underwood signs. He can't risk losing his job in his final year of eligibility. He will either go pro or transfer. But regardless, we need to win these next two games and try to stabilize the program and finish the season on a high note. Nuss gives us the best chance to win. Hurley Swann and Collins can play in the bowl game

Would try any decent looking young players. We look like crap. Team seems to play at the speed of a pregnant turtle.

What will you say if the line doesn’t block well and they fumble and throw interceptions too? Maybe blame the line?

I notice that you didn't say a new Center, and new left guard, a new play caller, a new offensive scheme, and wrs that get open (excluding Anderson and Taylor). You people are staring at the real problems and know that they are there, but yet you just want to pour it all on one player. I also notice you didn't say replace major burns, sage, gilbert, etc....so you are okay with seeing the same performance from them too right?

It is more than just the line not blocking well, but yes there is now a jail break up the middle on every single play....and we aren't and haven't tried anyone new. How the hell is he supposed to be looking downfield when immediately on every play he is having to get the hell out of dodge. It is also the overall scheme, and atrocious play calling, with average at best WRS.....but Nuss is an easy target. It is typical Rant.....people know there are massive problems in the OL, Scheme, and Play Calling......but yet just take the lazy route and blame the QB. JB and JD were projected 5th to 7th rounders after their first year starting at LSU......but now, with much worse problems surrounding the QB....and Nuss projected much higher after his first year starting....people want him out and a new QB. Careful what you wish for.

Yes, just what we need, to trot out a TF at QB next year in the SEC...full-time. You can't make this shite up. Some really really low level IQ idiots here.

I agree but I’d rather not see Swann, I live here in Nashville and have seen plenty of him and it’s not that great to be honest but I’m all in on the other guys. It could only help at this point.

It's Nussmeier's choice dumbass. Obviously we would want him back but he's not gonna return. It's too risky for him. Why do you think we're redshirting Swann?

The starter next year is Nuss or Underwood. No point in playing the backups.

i like how some anonymous poster makes this claim on here and then it becomes truth and fact!

If NUSS wants to come back, he will come back. If Kelly and underwood are smart, they likely all know that Nuss will start and Underwood would likely get plenty of packages...............most likely in the red zone, which would dramatically help this offense that moves between the 20's well then stalls.

Some of y’all really hate Nuss for some reason, and give him a very short leash compared to the one Daniels got his first year. Considering all things, dude hasn’t played poorly enough to lose his job. Bad OL, weak WRs, new OC who isn’t very good, terrible team chemistry…a new QB isn’t the answer.

You said this two weeks ago:

I don't think Nuss comes back but if he does then Underwood will probably play in a couple packages but will mostly sit. Nuss isn't as terrible as everyone wants to say and he should be better next year.

Collins may give some juice cause he can run, that's about it. Swann is a career backup

We need to give the freshman OL who will be starters next year playing time in next two games and sit the whole existing OL. A bunch of bums!

Yes because Nuss is probably done. BK has had enough of him. Game experience? How much fukin game experience you want to give Nuss?

It's SHOCKING that Nuss has hurled 422 passes this year! That's nearly DOUBLE the number of most of the other SEC leaders, including Dart, Green, Milroe and Iamaleava. Only Carson Beck has over 300 pass attempts, and the top SEC QBs.

That number -- 422 -- is an indictment of Joe Sloan and his playcalling deficiencies. Heads may roll at the end of this season

Collins has played very well in his limited time on the field, and he has mobility which is lacking with Nuss.

AJ Swann had 2 years experience with Vandy, but he's more of a statue than Nuss. I don't know if he adds anything to the mix.

Hurley? Hasn't played a down
