I dont know if id be mad, but coming out of hoover with a losing record is always a bad taste. Id be MORE then fine with a win and then lose Saturday. Get out of here and went 2-2.

Lose today and Jay Johnson will be 2-4 in hoover so far.

It's crazy that he gives up a few hits and yall think he lost something. Goes to show how dominant he has been every other game.
I mean, he did lose something yesterday. He couldn't locate anything other than his fastball. And the other pitches weren't close. Sure, it's a one off so far. But, it doesn't make sense to ignore that it happened.

He's been perfect other than that this year. He's pitched a ton of pitches. So, people are gonna naturally wonder whether this is a sign of things to come in the postseason.

I don't think those thoughts or comments are absurd.

Why do people worry about 18-22 year old bucks needing “rest”?

Because a college baseball season is a mental and especially physical grind!

If LSUs goal is to win the CWS, there’s nothing that will happen in Hoover to get them closer to that goal but a lot that could hinder their ability to win it

He wasn’t hit hard at all. He was a bit unlucky. And on top of that the defense does not really make any thing out than the routine at best

Youre right. No reason for bye weeks in football either.

If it wasn’t A&M I’d agree. A&M, Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, & UF can go to hell

He had grip issues due to sweat. It's also the second time Arky's seen him, so they were able to just hang around in at bats and key in on 1 pitch. They still really didn't do much damage, knowing what was coming.

The damn defense makes even the routine plays scary here lately and Dugas has as much range as me unfortunately

Who needs rest other than pitchers? It’s not like basketball where they’re running up and down the court or football where they’re beating the shite out of each other. There’s a reason MLB can play 162 games. Besides, our regional will be much easier than the SECT. Winning the whole thing could be a catalyst to a run through the rest of the post season. So, I want us to win every game we play, bottom line

Yea, I don’t get the rest shite. If someone is hurt, don’t play them. Pretty simple.

Probably half the team is dealing with something that the trainer is working on at this time of year.

I want to win. I just won’t be mad at a loss. They’re not mutually exclusive.

This is a really tough issue for most here to grasp, unfortunately.

Holding 2 opposing views in your mind at the same time is next level shite around here.

No one has said we don't want the Tigers to win today or the whole tournament for that matter. But a loss today does absolutely nothing to hurt our post season aspirations. It actually reduces the possibility of anything happening that could hurt us.

Get Floyd, Coleman, Herring, and Guidry some work and lest see some good at bats.
