Question: if CPM returned to LSU next season, would the program/roster be better
than what CPM left JJ after '21?

Worse. The new coach would have far less talent coming back than what JJ inherited.

The team is 9-21 and the best players are leaving for the draft. This is a rock bottom level here.

One of the misses was his first year ('07). The other 2011. We were 13-17 in the SEC. Same as in '24 when we did make it. Pt being, if you gonna apply 'bareley's', they need to be applied consistently.
so if you’re taking a coach to lead LSU for the next 10-15 years are you taking prime Mainieri who will constantly give you great regular season and flame out in June or Johnson?

It’s almost like if we had a football coach that went 15-0 with the GOAT college team in history and then went 13-13 the next 26.

Wait, are you really comparing Jay Johnson to Orgeron?

I feel like the locker room quit on him when he admitted that he missed in the portal on several guys pretty much throwing them under the bus
this is so freaking stupid. He essentially benched the transfers and started playing freshman where he could after that. And our hitting and runs scored immediately got better after those transfers were benched.
