That atmosphere is what makes LSU different.

When Frey gets the bases clearing double in the 4th, it was absolute madness. Along with every Evans K.

One I will not soon forget.

Win!

Why would you go to a game where you expected the team to lose?

You cannot escape The Rant, It is useless and futile to try to backtrack or crawfish previous stupid or bold statements. We have people that will locate and expose you my fair weather fan. Now drop and give me 20.

Not enough pitching to get out of their own Regional? That is a stupid statement to make.

You might argue that LSU lacks enough pitching and hitting to win the CWS, but, not enough to win the Regional?

That's a ball-scratcher . . . head-scratcher, too. Big head, not little head.

That's what she said.

I mean... we could finally relax some in the 9th inning of game 7.... sir, we almost did not make it out of the regional. Are you that dense?

Doin the Lord’s work. My man

It’s even better that it was the pitching that saved us.

I’m often jealous and thankful for the LSU fans that show up strong at the games.

I went to sleep when it was 1-5 UALR

I had already made sure to WAOM & OMAHA my Ole Miss friends & family.

I left them with “we’ll see” on the Tigers being down early.

It was like Christmas morning this morning for me!

Hitting was the problem not the Pitching.

It is still an issue! The LSU Offense is still an issue, going forward to the CWS.

Pitching seems fine to me, going forward. LSU has three outstanding Pitchers who can start. Evans is one of them.

But to win it all? I am concerned about the Offense, not the Defense.

And, yes, for a good while last night, it did look like LSU would not make it out of their own Regional. That did happen, but, Little Rock was playing outstanding baseball.

Once we took the lead back, I knew we weren’t losing. That place was a madhouse.

Starting pitching is solid. Middle relief has been erratic with a poor K to W ratio. Our best relief pitcher is now a freshman starter, and the other relief pticher (Cowan) has been rung up of late.
That will work in a regional or a super most of the time.
At the CWS, if they were to lose early and have to play 4 or 5 games BEFORE the championship series, they will not do well.

And the offense is partt of the problem because it has not been nearly as productive agains SEC calibar pitching as in pre SEC.
If we make it to the CWS, I think LSU plays 2-4 games and is out.
Not their year. I hate that, but i cannot see them winning it all.

Compared to the Wake Forest versus Tennessee game, on TV, that game sounded like a game with good atmosphere too. The difference was the WF/Tenn game had a lot of treble and midrange. The LSU game crowd noise through the TV had a lot more depth. Probably because of the bigger crowd.
