I think the worst part of this will be the media coverage.

This is the only real story they'll have until the season starts.

Between now and the first game the media (especially ESPN) are going to talk this shite to death. The over analyization will be mind boggling. Some of them will claim this is going to cost us four games. Shows like College Football Live will be bad enough but the general shows where the hosts don't spend all day talking about college football will be even worse.

Then the first game will come along and we'll roll North Texas and everyone will move on. But for the next four weeks I literally will not be able to turn on ESPN.

The majority of the media considered TM to be overrated to begin with. I doubt they'll react the way you are thinking.

I think the worst thing will be the pass coverage. 2 transfers, 3 graduations, and a boot.

Already second on the Google news sports tab, after Howard to the Lakers.

In the middle of the Olympics, baseball pennant races, pre-season NFL, this is going to be a huge story, regardless. Kid was a Heisman finalist as a nickel back - had a chance to win the thing, but for the suspension. Hopefully, this is the final wake up call he needs, because this story could end very, very badly.

Of course they will react excessively. Doing that = big story = more ratings = more $$$$. Doesn't matter if they're hypocritical or not

People would much rather talk about Dwight Howard and NFL training camp.

Jay Crawford already asked Robert Smith on SC how far TM7's dismissal should drop us in the top 10. And I thought only wins and losses determined that.

I think the worst part of this is 178 threads that all repeat the same three points.

(this actually doesn't apply to you, I just didn't want to start a new thread)

Why do people have to be heard?!?

My thoughts exactly. All of the negative attention on LSU will be the worst part of this situation
