i've heard the stories that they have a bizarrely anti-lsu philosophy instead of working to prevent the school from having problems and violations.

IIRC the whacked thread said after reported the NCAA handed down a punishment of cutting practice time for the rest of the season
If true it was very extreme
It was whacked with a quickness so there may be no truth to it at all
I honestly thought it was made up until I saw Culotta brought it up, doesn’t necessarily mean the info in the whacked thread was correct tho

Compliance is in a pissing contest with the revenue sports. Mostly football honestly. They are a support department. Ticket office. Gameday crew. Maintenance. Compliance. Serve the sports, don't try to measure dicks with them.

I have heard all kinds of things on this board about compliance, just as I ave about the BOS. And clearly,some posting here have no idea what they are talking about. If you really want to know, it is difficult to separate the fact from the fiction on this board.

Don't forget who your audience is LouBega. Good Post a bunch of Key Board Badasses! So true they are in place to make sure rules are followed and if not let the NCAA know we messed this up or that up. Not that big of a deal. They act like everything is the compliance departments fault just because some half arse radio host got on a rant this morning.

Which specific point made by Jordy would you like to argue? When we have football players suspended where they wouldn’t be at other schools, that’s a problem. When Savion Smith can’t stay eligible here (thanks Bahnsen), but can start at Alabama, what are your thoughts on that?
Our compliance department has been getting revenge on the football program since Saban put them in their place. It’s time someone gets a grip on those fricking nerds.
