We are becoming more and more of a joke with the ongoing changes. Once a year is enough to be “different “ otherwise tradition reigns on.

Kids love the alt uniforms. Its really for recruiting.
We have amazing colors and uni combos, BK is trying to show as much of it as possible.

We wear the same uniform home and away. It mixes it up. I like the purple jerseys and white purple white looks pretty clean IMO. I love the classic GWG the best, but for a second and third choices; all white and WPW are pretty good.

Alt uniform gimmicks are a sign of a weak and declining program imo.

Yeah you're right. If we just wore the yellow/white/yellow every game we would definitely be 11-0 and headed to the playoffs.

Gold/purple/gold is tradition; I mostly remember it as a road uniform in the '60s and '70s in the Charlie Mac regime. They started wearing it at home in the 1980s. It's a traditional uniform and it looks good.
White/purple/white is a recent innovation. Other than the special Katrina uniforms for the 2007 Tulane game, they didn't start wearing them until 2015 in a game vs S. Carolina in Tiger Stadium. It's not as striking in appearance as the gold & purple but it's a clean, sharp look. I'm starting to warm up to it.

Look, I get some people like a change...but that is what out of conference is for. He is killing our tradition, and not exactly building a winning program as he does it. I always thought that the traditional LSU uniform, along with USCw were really classy uniforms....the unis that we are wearing now are like a costume party it feels like. It is fine for an out of conference game, but let's be LSU in the SEC games.

look geauxrilla, these players are just passing through for a few years, and these days, we don't even get 3 years out of most, as there is no loyalty anymore. The fans that have helped to build this tradition through the decades are the ones that care. All these young people have no respect for tradition, and no loyalty whatsoever. Keep telling the people that have supported the program for decades that they have no say.....and see how that works out. You probably love Nil too.
