I think Les is holding Travonte Valentine out as a plan

Les knows there is nothing worse than losing late and with a team chock full of true freshman starters, the worst thing in the world would be for them to rip off about 8 wins in a row, get ranked 2 or 3 and then face Bama.
True freshman with big heads would be an instant blood letting. That late loss would kill any chance LSU has at the SECCG and a PlayoffNC.
Like a jockey holding the thoroughbred back until the final turn, Les is holding Travonte out till after Auburn.
The early loss to MSU is the perfect loss... humbles the kids enough, but keeps them hungry at the same time.
We squeak out a win over Auburn with the timely insertion of BHarris.
Then the following week unleash full holy hell on the SEC with Valentine and Herron getting full snaps.
We peak right on up to the SECCG and PlayoffMNC!

Something is going on with him. Anybody heard anything regarding eligibility? Les may do some crazy stuff but I don't remember him openly hyping a player in fall practice and then not play him.

Or Les may lose 6 out of his last 7, finish out of top 50, miss a bowl invite, and then get a pay raise, because Michigan wants him.
