Its a big gamble. If Brennan comes back, does Nuss leave? Will Howard want to wait that long for his shot if Nuss stays? What if either of them doesn't pan out?
Its not like we are going to be a force next season anyway. Its might be smarter to move on and let Nuss take the reins.

I agree all of this is in realm of possibilities but I wouldn’t be skipping over Nuss, he’s a mature bright kid and believe he’s a baller!

Why would Nuss stay if Brennan comes back?
He’d only get to play it Brennan got hurt
And Everyone expects that Howard will get the job in his second year

It really probably isn't in MBs best interest to come back eventhough I would love to see it. He needs to go somewhere he is the man no question and put on a show. With Nuss and Howard as your backups the first mistake you make people will be screaming for them
