I think Daniels starts initially bc he’s the less turnover prone

I think Nuss has more upside, especially from a passing perspective, but I think Kelly/Denbrock are going to try to limit mistakes on offense. If LSU gets behind or the offense is not effective, I think that’s when you’ll see Nuss bc of his quick strike ability.

Edited: I am projecting LSU’s offense to be more run heavy initially and therefore Daniels won’t have to throw the ball as much I.e. less turnover prone. Not based on ASU’s offense last year.

I mean i guess.

JD throws a beautiful deep ball and can elude the rush.

Agree.. JD gets the first crack at it. Best case scenario is he continues what he has shown in camp (offense cant be stopped with JD under center), we roll FSU something fierce, Nuss gets some live reps vs Southern then its back to the JD show for state, et al

I think he starts early because he's a JR that's started 30 games already in his career.

Didn’t Daniels throw 10 pics last year?

Bold take. Especially since that is exactly what CBK has been saying for two months now.

I think he starts because he has started 30 games in a power conference and is a better runner for an unproven offensive line.

This shite again

Yes, he also threw 17 TD/2 INT in 2019 and 5/1 in the covid shortened 2020.

He also threw 7 int after their 2nd loss, in an absolute dumpster fire of a program, with a seive as an offense line and 0 weapons on the outside to throw to. With no QB coach.

Also lets just ignore his 13 career rushing TDs. And by the way he's only lost 2 fumbles in 30 career starts (both his freshman season)

Still lead the conference in completion %. And his freshman year only threw 2 if I recall correctly.

This would have been insightful a month ago, today it's just another bad thread.

And Nuss threw 3 picks in one game. Kelly has repeatedly said that Nuss tries to do too much at times and based on the offense LSU will run, I think Daniels and his running ability will get the nod first. That doesn’t mean he will be the QB at the end of the year though.

I have faith in whomever our coaching staff decides. Atleast we have moved away from jet sweeps and the dive toss or toss dive - or whatever the damn thing is called.

I think it’s gonna be myles Brennan . This was all a smoke screen so fla st wouldn’t be ready for the pocket passer. As soon as the media leaves practice myles comes in , legedly.

He will ride in the stadium on coach os shoulders

I do not know who starts, but with one game under his belt how can you say Nuss is more turn over prone?
