Who gives a shot if he threw 10 pics last season at ASU. Different school and different program with top notch coaching. If Daniel’s starts it’s because he earned it, if Nuss starts it’s because he earned it, either way I believe LSU is going to be just fine at the QB position.

how can you say Nuss is more turn over prone?
Kelly has been quoted multiple times that Nuss is too wreckless with the ball at times and that’s what his biggest issue is. Daniels is safer bc the offense is going to be more run oriented (both RB and QB) and therefore less turnover prone. They’ll still take deep shots with our great WRs off of play action, however.

I do think better competition in the SEC will require a more sophisticated passing game and therefore Nuss may be more effective later in the year, especially as the offensive line jells.

The reason I made my statement was because the OP said he is less turnover prone.

Yes, he also threw 17 TD/2 INT in 2019 and 5/1 in the covid shortened 2020.

He also threw 7 int after their 2nd loss, in an absolute dumpster fire of a program, with a seive as an offense line and 0 weapons on the outside to throw to. With no QB coach.

Also lets just ignore his 13 career rushing TDs. And by the way he's only lost 2 fumbles in 30 career starts (both his freshman season)

Good information

Don't take my post as I am in the Nuss camp. I am going to root for whomever is taking the snaps. I asked the question because the OP said he was less turnover prone. You have posted some good information that puts everything in perspective

Both of them turn over the ball. Happy feet, suspect intermediate passing accuracy and looking down receivers is not good in this league. Hope he straightened this out. Where is Kirkland when you need him.

You will find Kirkland at Costco.
