Scotts doing a good job only difference is that I don't think scotts has the inside connections/sources on recruits don had. But don collected those sources thru years of officiating high school football, otherwise site hasn't skipped a beat.

If anything, its gotten more in depth. Scotts doing this while also doing his real job. I'd love to figure out how he finds the time. Great site.

Just not the same.
No, but Scott Long is doing a great job and I enjoy his insights and innovations to the site. Don Long was a great Tiger Fan, lots of passion and plenty of purple and gold. But generations move on and it's great when the son can pick up where the father left off, with hardly a ripple (as Scott has done).

Sorry Chicken, but to start my Tiger mornings, I always read DD before I come to the Rant.

I found his page in 2009. I've read it every day since. Scott is jam up. He is very accurate. He called Jeremy Hill being a stud before anybody else that I read info from. Thank you Scott for making this info available to us free of charge.

Don Long was a good person and a huge Tiger fan. He set a fine example for others, appreciated his roots and was a family man. I enjoy Scott's updates. His dad would be proud of him.

Dandy don is my first stop once I get a cup of Joe. Scott is doing a great job. It seems exactly the same as when Mr Don was still alive. All the way down to the canning pickles part.

No disrespect to Mr. Don who was an LSU institution but Scott does a great job. So glad he carries on.
